Oo-De-Lally, Oo-De-Lally, Golly What a Day!

Hi friends!

I’m dropping in real quick before heading to my lady friend’s house for homemade Italian and red wine (praise) to chat a little about what’s been going on in my neck of the woods lately. I know every post as of late has been, “It’s been awhile,” “Here’s a recap,” etc., but I’m a busy gal.

Top business. Theatre.

The show I’ve been in rehearsals for finally opened this past week, and it has been a joyous experience so far! “Robin Hood: Thief, Brigand” presented by NOMA and The NOLA Project is underway, and I am just so damn happy to be a part of it. Truly. Words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for having the chance to play with this gigantic cast, all of which are IMMENSELY talented. I am left inspired every single day by them. So, thank you, team!

Over the past month, I’ve been on the radio, in several newspapers, The Gambit, and now our promo video has been released. I have people stopping me saying, “Oh my gosh, you’re Marian!” It’s incredible. I love what I do, and I want to do this every single day for the rest of my life.

Here’s the promo video created by the amazing Mason Wood!

Also, if you feel inclined to do so, which you should, feel free to check out our hashtag for the show so you can stay up to date with pictures, funny happenings, and show details! #RobinHoodNOMA.

As always, thanks to The NOLA Project for giving me this opportunity. I hope I’ve made you proud.

I’ll leave you all with one of my favorite publicity photos taken by the talented John Barrois.

Our second weekend begins this Wednesday! SO EXCITED. If you want to purchase tickets, you can find them at nolaproject.com.

See you in Sherwood!

*Edited to add: I just found out that a promo video especially for my character, Maid Marian, has been created! SO COOL! Here it is! Enjoy!
